I'm trying to put together a pelt setup for 7800GTX 512 in SLI to overclock. I'm looking for someone with great skills who is supremely bored to help a guy out, hehe. I don't suppose anyone has ever drawn up a coldplate design to take to a machinist for a 226W pelt to mate up with a Swifty 6002 waterblock? I have a very good watercooled setup using dual loops on weaponized heatercores currently, and am looking for better cooling on my SLI setup. Can anyone make any suggestions? Has anyone ever designed a similar setup? This will be my first foray into TEC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

design is basically just choosing the thickness that is best, you can calculate the best thinkness using the die size and TEC size, search around some people have gone over this, try ocforums.
Yes others have modified the 6002 for TEC use on the GPU, again STF.

5-6mm was what I was told years aggo for 226watt pelts ... around that thickness is pretty close to what you want.
Probably go with 6mm myself.
I Would like to help more, but I dont have a 6002 or 7800gtx (i wish) to measure.
I can probably help with some more basic stuff tomorrow (time for bed in a minute for me)
