I built this as a add on to a Lian Li case but is a standalone bare cooler that fits the case.. I use the fan filter bracket to hold the condenser.
Ever nitice how everything seems to take longer that you think??

That's a nice fit Chilly :D
I can see that the V2000 is getting to be popular for this kind of mod and for good reason. Must be easier when you're starting from scratch as opposed to working with a Mach or a Vapo as you can make 100% sure that what you're working with is going to be a good fit though.
Words of wisdom though, it ALWAYS takes longer than you think it will but if you take the time, it get's done right.
The usual top job from the man himself :toast:

Your using 1/8 tubes in/out of the drier and some sort of flare nuts? That looks like there might be enough room to fit even larger compressor in there.

Well that compressor is only a 1/5 hp but will start and stop on a dime.. no timedelay needed and it has enough go to run an FX57 at -24 at idle in windows and -5 to -7 in windows with superpi at 8 meg end of run..
I cant get the mini compressor any larger that this it weight less that 18 lbs.
And the Lian Li seems to be thge best for the install of the phase
I have an antec case here that is giving me nightmares.. I need to hack it up to get it to work....

Successfully put NF9FX in there.... will post pic of mine tomorrow. It is very tight with larger compressor for sure.

What size compressor would it take to keep an FX-57 at -35c at full load? 1/3hp unit w/R402a should do the job right?

1/5 hp Tecumseh AZ0395YXA Charged with R507A and 3 % or so iceon 89.
Actual windows temps somewhere beetween 2 to -6 near the end of 32 meg super pi..@ 1.65 Volts on FX57 and Idle temps in windows -24 to -26 and evap temps of -42 to -44 idle.
THis is with the RevE.04 block

What size/length capilary?
Would charging with r402a vs r507a in the above mentioned senario get you lower enough to justify the head pressure?

Really not much different.. and teh captube ends up around 90 to 92 inches (2.2 to 2.3m

not much difference in head presssure or temperatures hu. Would you say then its better to use R402a since that way you dont have to mix?
90 to 92 inches, of 0.028?

well that depends.. you are not supposed to mix refrigerants as you can never arrive at teh same mix twice, R402 does boil at a littel lower temp that 507, I do use it herer and there also...
