just broke 8500 possible to hit 9k ?

I did some benching tonight on a fairly new card and I had broken 8500 without much effort. here's the compare URL 8518 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5675439)

However I did not do any cooling mods on the card yet, and I have a strong suspicion that's what's holding me back for now.
I'll try and fix something for that card (had some trouble finding something because it doesn't have mounting holes for my custom waterblock or any other decent coolblock.)
Anyway I was thinking I should get a couple hundred more points out of it, but I was hoping for 9k. Do you guys think that will be possible?

sorry for any confusion. here are the specs:

p1.6A @ 2400 running 3:4 on the rams
abit siluro mx440SE
some OEM motherboard based on an msi not allowing ajustments in the bios.
samsung pc2700
modified boxed aircooling
standard cooling on the mx440 though voltmodded (had some trouble figuring it out, still looking for a better way to do the vmem)
