I bought an old vapo pe as it was cheaper then a high end wc and will keep the optys I have in the 18-27c range which no wc could do. I can see they did not have AMD64 mb's in mind when making it. I can't figure out how to put a psu in the case as it hit the hose. Please tell me how you did it and pictures please. Thanks

hi dogsx2
i had the same "problem"
in the manuel stands that there should be a small gap between PSU and hose
u could try to bend the hose
.. or put some distance holder in between

Haven't really tried for max on anything. At 3200 I can prime all cpu's and will work from there. I don't expect big oc's as it is not going to stay sub-0 with a load. It's still better then high end water as it can keep the cpu below room temps. The 144 takes the least volts on 3200 prime.

14C loaded @ 1.42v? That's nice. My best with the PE was 1.53v and 28C load for about 3300mHz, 3D/bench stable.

Even though my 148 may clock a little higher, this little CABNE 144 is just a sweet chip, Volts per MHz have always been great. It runs great on air, water or ss. It was the first cpu to get me to 3000+MHz and is my first love when it comes to optys.
Thanks charlie for selling the vapo to me and doing a first class job of shipping it. I had heard that it was nosiey but it is not as loud as the Koolance2 with fans on high. I fixed the probe and now it is working great. I think I will make something to put the psu on the outside of the case in the same place it should go.

excellent... you got it up and running fast, too... it had me scratching my head for about a week ;)
And yeah, I'm convinced UPS is out to kill everything I ship! But I had it insured @ $900 so if damaged they could replace it with a XEII or LS, lol...
