Am I right in thinking that the thermal compund you use on CPU is different from above ambient temp cooling systems?
with my vapo I got compund with it but I need some more and I dont think I can just use some artic silver.
What is there available and whats performs best. I am in the UK so must be able to source it here.
Thanks

Alot of people use artic ceramique. I think the white stuff that comes with stock heatsinks is also good.
To subtitute Vapo thermal paste which made by AOS..http://www.aosco.com/products/heat_sink/silicone_chart.shtml you can use any white thermal grease that available on most computer store.

Will try AS ceramique I know artic slver5 is the best for normal stuff so guessing the ceramique is good if they make it. Just wondering if its an idea to lap the contact area on my vapo, should have done it in the first place but was too happy just to put it all together.
