Hey,
just so you guys know, im not planning on doing this until next summer, and then only if i get a good job. But I have a few questions regarding chillboxes:

1) How safe are they for 24/7 usage? From what I've read as long as they are sealed well they are extremely safe
2) About how loud is the average compressor for a airconditioner?
3) Around how much energy does a small AC unit (like this one: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2067705) use in an always on state?
4) How much money does neoprene and things like that cost? and wheres some good places to buy stuff that can stand up to subzero temps?
5) How hard is it to rig it up so I can have temps right around freezing for normal use, and then for benching get into the negatives?
6) How good of a job blocking noise does this insulation do (reason I ask is because i was thinkin about using some 12v deltas in the box to prevent condensation from forming)
7) Wheres some places I can read more about this stuff?

Thanks
Sean

1) If the unit is done right they are as safe as a AC or fridge
2) AC compressors are pretty noisy but some of the danfoss are quiet
3)
4) go to local HVAC store or ebay or under-the-ice.com or ask chilly1
7) read all the guides
