Sig method:
In BF2S.com there are 4 sig images in the middle on the right of the page. You can either insert the image, or insert the image and if someone clicks it then it takes you to your BF2S.com page.

Uninstall Special Forces, uninstall BF2, manually clean out all traces. Reinstall BF2, then SF, then apply the 1.12 patch. I kept getting errors after I first installed SF.

to get it working, untick all the MAP SIZES (small, medium, big) because they do nothing anyway, and just select 5 or less (ranked, no password, same version, same mod & punkbuster is what K use) and the browser werx perfectly.

you can also put partial server names or partial map names into the browser and it will now work =D

I got on a Wake Island map last night with 900 points to start... (or whatever you call it?) and I was the PLA, so we were beating the enemy off the beaches the whole game! Easiest 120points I've ever got!

are you sure that was a ranked server? 64 player ranked servers start with 300 tickets.

if it was 900 tickets, then sorry to say, you prolly wont see those 120 points you made added to your global stats =/

I just broke 13K Global score...

Bottom line... how do peeps get "good" at BF2? I mean I have 220+ hrs in the bank... and only 13K.

So I've played a LOT and I STILL have rounds where i'll go 7-15 k/d...

I think it's psychological. I can get higher scores if I "try"... but I just like running around, C4'ing the hell out of stuff... chasing guys with a knife, lol... if I see a chopper, my first reaction is to jump in a HUMVEE to use the 50cal!!!
So if I'm "careful" I can do better, but then get less kills!

Lately I've been playing medic on MEC with the AK47 (better one on one stopping power than M16 or L85) and it's pretty cool, usually worth 50 points/rd @ Mashtuur or Sharqi or Karkand.

Now the fighter pilot rapists... they rack up some points! But I can't hit sh*t in a jet :(

Maybe I'm picking servers with tough gamers???? I need a NEWB server to play in :D
I always look for the largest map, like 64 players, and closest to full... is this a mistake? PLUS I usually look for mashtuur, sharqi, karkand or dragon valley... are those the "ace" maps where I'm likely to get killed??

The SUCKIEST 2 maps are the one with PLA and the swamps :rolleyes: and the dumb zatar wetlands one :(

Yes thats been my play.You could hide around the corner and chuck a granade,but it's a lot funner to stab someone.The only problem is when you bring a knife to a gun fight your stats go down :( .

been getting sucked into WoW lately :\ being able to play in a window and multi-task [re: homework :p] is priceless. I need a second compy and I'd do that with FPSs.

Working on the sniper ratio though, I'm starting to get decent with the rifles. Some spec-ops and medic here and there with a pinch of support gunner is always nice though

yeehaw! got my pistol badge yesterday!

Just a matter of finding the right map/server I guess. I was playing Iron Gator and I would re-spawn continuously at viewing deck, and run along superstructure toward MEC flag on the carrier deck near the F-18's. I went prone and picked them off from pretty good range. The 92 FS will kill in a couple shots if the soldier is a bit wounded. So I ended up with 13 pistol kills IAR.
