I am having some trouble I believe with PAT. I have been told it is better to boot into windows with PAT enabled @ 200FSB, then clockgen up higher. However, I can't clockgen higher than 225FSB without it either restarting, SuperPi erroring instantaneously. However i can boot up to 245FSB no problems, and isn't PAT disabled if booting above 200FSB? I have tried two sets of ram (Corsair BH-5 as well as OCZ UTT) both have the same problems. Anyone else have a problem like this, or is there some setting i should be using in able to get a higher FSB with PAT fully enabled.

I believe it's SetFSB that can bypass the PAT restrictions. Anyways, even if you reach past 200FSB with full PAT, it would have a limit before full PAT becomes unstable.

It varies between motherboards.

If you just use BIOS, or clockgen to OC past 200FSB , then you would just get partial PAT.
