I built my new PC last night and everything was working flawlessly until I tried to install an updated BIOS. I completely screwed it up and now I cant boot. Is there a way to reset the BIOS to default or is the mainboard dead? I tried to run the update through windows and thats what caused me the problem. When I tried to run it I got an error and the program closed. I then tried to reboot and I get nothing but black screen. Any ideas what to do?

Thanks

the board is a Abit KD-7 Raid.

it sounds like you need to get the bios chip replaced wich invovles sending the board to the manufacturer

For future reference, Never, Never , Never and I mean Never flash your bios though Windows. The safest way is still using the floppy.
