with the 81.95 drivers, that thing looks like a 3dmark record breaker. 3.1ghz on air is certainly hanging with the best of them, and it's still not too hot, so it must have more headroom?

Although from 1.35v at 3g to 1.55v at 3.1g is quite a jump. Did it need that, or were you just giving it headroom?

Impressive for dual cores, I can't beleive it was staying cool with 1.55V. my opty gets HOT with that kind of voltage at anything over 2900. I can't keep it under 55C even with my XP120. Looks like for the water and above guys, the new FX is going to be a monster.

Dual-prime stable 3GHz on 1.4V does look nice, how many other Toledos can do that, even on phase? Let's hope that a cold-bug isn't TOO rampant with these.

that's still OK........what sort of cooling do you have and what temps are you seeing

Another thing, what ram are you running with. Seem like eXpert is quite pickey about the ram. Not sure it's related but could be?

I can dual prime of my opty165 with mushkin UCCC 2GB for hours without error but failed in 3 minutes with mushkin redline utt at the same Mhz., @2817 Mhz.

Sounds like to me that this chip aint no better then the X24800. The FX60 is only good to lower the multi and might have cherry picked mem controller.
I think i will pass and wait for the next X2-FX which will do 3.5 easy on the LS.

update comes~~ lol
i was unable to do DI yestreday but i just ran on DI
1st
DI with 100cc ACETONE in special made mousepot 3in with also 3in large bottom area, i can reach -50 on bios read with 1.65v..... and that is way to cold for FX60... but i think that is good for FX57 lol
2nd
DI with 50cc acetone in same mousepot, still -45 read in bios. cold bug
3rd
DI with 10cc acetone in same mousepot, -38 read in bios, load windws but can not see desktop
4th
DI with 5cc acetone.... still -30 read in bios... load into desktop and freeze..
i was able to run 1M very quick after windows not complete finished loading all background program but when it finished.... freeze again!

tomorrow or otherday i will try DI with no acetone to see what is going to happen...

and above in runing on 250*14 = 3.5G!

I had same step 0519 mpmw 4600 it did 2.85 ghz stable 1.55 voltage on air and /w vapochill 2.9 @1.6 volt.
I tried 300 x 10 but was really hard and not stable.

That picture is a terrible photoshop. I've never seen a A64 stick out of the package like that before. Notice also that it doesn't say the model number in the upper left corner which all PIB have.

i think it can reach -25 without problem, i didn't mount the mousepot at all... it just sit on top of FX60
to rock this cold bug sickness FX60 with DI need to spend a long to control the temp.....
