Compressor wiring ? Help!

This is a Danfoss TL4F compressor. I need to know where to hook the line in voltage and a switch to this. I had to add the letters, they are marked but my flash washed them out. If you need any more info just lmk.

I've got a couple of the same, and using the same mini starter you've got there.

I tried to rewire it with a proper start relay and it wouldn't have it.

On of them is a FR10A on my cascade, and it's starts with no problems using that starter.

Put the live onto the 'N' on the top left, and the common onto the bottom 'C'. Don't wire anything else, just that (and your earth of course to the compressor earth strap). That's all I did with mine through 'trial and error' wiring and it starts, runs, and works with no problems just like that.

I've got a FR10, FR7.5, and TL4 all with that setup on it, and they all work fine wired up that way.

Thanks GM.... there were cut off wires on the teminals you said. I just didn't want to try it until I was sure.... it fired right up :toast:

Well I'm in the same situation and I just wanted to be sure that everything is okay.

Brown is live, and Blue is common from the mains normally.

I couldn't tell you if it's 100% right, but I wire mine so that the brown is to the N where you've got the blue, and the blue to the C where you've got the brown.

I would think that is should start either way with AC voltage, but that's how I wired them all, and they all worked just fine.

Those wiring things don't look anything like the ones I have dealt with. Is there some sort of pattern as to how they are meant to be wired? So far I have just gone along with guessing from the wires that lead to the fridge and the ones that are on the main power attachment on the compressor. Brown to white from that little box seems to work for Matsu$hita compressors.. (but I have had one of those little plug things weld itself to the wiring box when I forgot it was brown and used blue instead).
