Its called the kenbak-1. It was for sale in 1971. Specs are:
-256 bytes of memory
-1mhz processor
Only about 40 sold, the company went out of business in 1973. This should make you aprecieate how far we have came along..

Something even I don't own. Are you interested in selling it?
Are you sure it's a 1MHz processor? I only see logic chips on there. Where's the processor hiding?

yes TTL logic chips, processors as we know them weren't invented back then, just a group of logic chips doing the maths, equivalent speed to about 1mhz.

can you OC it?
LMFAO! :toast:

Hmm, never saw anything that old. Put some ramchips on those logic chips and get that thing up to 3mhz. Lets see some SPI 1m! I'll race you: that comps vs me and some paper.

lol thats gonna be a close race.
(either im saying that the pc is fast or that you are slow. pick one :p)

Believe it or not, some here witness it, can't belive i'm alive still.
Cough, cough, (cig, vine, coffee) cough, cough, it's always great to see that there is other mechanics than your self, that is outdated, cough, cough.

Then it isn't a true Processor.. Just a really good calculator

the kenbak is a true computer, it just doesnt have a microprocessor, it has logic chips that act like a CPU

Now that one will win the 3dmark06 contest.

Ten buck says it wont even install

How much memory does it have? A few bytes should be it. PI M1 should be very doable with a few days (or weeks) of preparation, then add the actual time to calculate it all and load/save the values... :P
1mhz is pretty good I think, but it must use many of those cycles even for something simple like a few bytes of multiplication.
Ten buck says it wont even install
Of course it wont install. The amount of requirements it fails to have are staggering. Not being a microprocessor(it only has the ALU part?) would be the first.
