because the 180 runs on 1.3-1.35v vs the 1.35-1.4v of the 4800+
and BFG because they are more flexable with their Warrenty
And the answer to your Sound Question depends on how much you like music and how fat your bank account is.. Heck I have seen half mill sound systems on computers...
Yes there is an easy way but it isn't the best way..

Also the best would be 64 880s in a tyran board.. WIth a :banana::banana::banana:load of Raid6 SCSI and More Ram than most people have in harddrive space

G.SKILL Extreme Series 1GBx2 (*2 for 4gb total)

You may want to just get 1 pair of those, if you get 4 DIMMS, you'll have to run it at 1T timings...

if i wanted to get a widescreen monitor, what would be the best to get?
would be for gaming/editing/movies so it needs full 16.7m colors not 16.2m

Hmm, the xpert is a good choice, but theres only 2 motherboards now that support full x16 / x16 SLI mode. All other SLI boards just do x8 / x8.

Theres the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe, which is out of stock 99% of the time, and theres the new MSI K8N Diamond or something.

AFAIK, the monitors in my sig are pretty good. They are 23" sony premier pros.

I have a question....
Why do you want 4 Raptors? Why do you need 2TB of storage?

Good luck in your quest for the 7800 GTX 512MB. Not that I can afford one, let alone two, but every place I've looked the ETA on them is mid January.

He's just probably trying to make a kick ass rig but he fails to realize that he doesn't need most of it...

I agree, that's why I'm trying to clarify.

7800gtx 512 SLi if for people with more money than brains or the desire to set a new world record...
And I am guessing he's not the world record type of person

actually i am trying to set a record for something :) can't tell though, it's a christmas present to someone. (you probably wouldn't understand)
but how does the mushkin 2gb kit preform compared to corsair 3500llpro in reality? i'm thinking about using one of those instead.
btw what's a good gaming mousepad? again price not an issue

In reality overclocking or in reality leave them be?

just OCed to the rated speed and maybe a little more if there's lots of headroom and completely stable

The OC to the rated speed ain't much so I say there is no real difference between them...
