Hey guys,
Was just getting some postage quotes for shipping compressors and other phase change gear, and as many other people have found, it's pretty scary stuff:eek: . I got quoted $76 to ship a compressor to New Zealand, I guess that's not too suprising, but i'm sure I can do better. I'd just like to see what postage services people are finding are the best/cheapest (I understand these 2 things are independant of each other). Obviously i'm mainly interested in postage services down under, but it'd be good for everyone to share their experiences and what they've learn't all over the world to benefit other forum members. Cheers

Ship them together. Make one big package... go by pallet. Basically work with local guys together and make one big shipment... plan ahead, etc. Substantially reduces shipping cost involved.

Or I'll buy your compressor and save you shipping it to NZ ;)

New would be nice but I was hoping to do it on the cheap! Guess I will hunt around for a 1/4, 1/3hp 2nd hand someplace. I'm newb at this. I've been just reading for the last month or so... I probably shouldn't post any more till I've read some more!
