Does it matter which ends of tubing you swag when you make the connections.
Also I a bit confused how the 3/8's evap coil I'm going to use is plumbed I'm going with a TXV

I'm not sure where the small 1/4 fitting on the valve goes to.

The 1/4 fitting on the valve needs to be connected to an access port on the evap outlet/suction pipe close by the tev bulb, something like the picture..
the valve you have is externally equalised thus the 1/4 fitting.
if it was a ts2 it would be internally equalised with no 1/4 fitting.

Ok. Now in the diagram it shows the 1/4" access port on the evap located between the TEV Bulb and compressor.. How close should it be to the bulb?

and should I run the 3/8" tubing(suction line) all the way to compressor and then reduce it to
connect to compressor.
Another question as far as schrader valve placement I have one on the compressor and one should be placed just before condensor. Should I install any others for checking presures?

hi, I would look into fitting 1/4 access valve within inches of the tev bulb.
I can't say for 100% your system will be good for 3/8 suction to compressor. I know very little about your system, what I can say is, I run 3/8 back to compressor and it's fine for me, 134a 1/3hp>1/4 liquid line>tev>twin coil 1/4evap>3/8 suction to compressor.
schrader valves, well at very minimum I'd go one suction on the compressor, one discharge on discharge line somewhere, for tweaking/setup I would also put another valve right by the tev bulb so thats two there now and one on the liquid line, that's how i'd go about it.

Thank's for the info.
