hey all, i just built my new rig and my psu is very hot. even when idle it seems a little to hot. is there anyway i can cure this? btw, its a OCZ powerstream 520. plus ive put arctic silver 5 on both cpu and gpu, that helped a little but still kinda hot.

heres a pic of the rig.

What do you mean by hot? The air coming out of it or the unit itself? Does the Powerstream come with a fan connector to monitor it's fan speed? Is there any type of manual fan adjustment on the power supply?

All powerstreams are hot, the air coming out of the back of both my 520's and my 600w was always warm.

Hot air coming out the back is definitely a good thing.

You could try getting a different block for your card and cpu, they look generic/weak.
