Hello,
I've been lurking on this forum, and many others for quite a few months now, and I will be ordering my computer parts within the next two weeks. This is going to be my first build. I plan on doing some overclocking. I am trying to keep the budget as close as possible to 2000. I will be doing mostly gaming, and a bit of graphic editing. Here's what I've got:
$209 Dfi Expert
$320 Evga 7800gt
$220 G.Skill extreme ddr500 pc4000
$360 U2 - UFO black powder original top
$350 sceptre x9g gamer or samsung 930bf
$50 xp-120
$35 nec 350a burner
$100 deck keyboard
$140 xp w/ sp2 oem
$230 amd athlon 64 3700+ sandy or opteron 148
$140 ocz powerstream 520w
$119 seagate barracuda 300gb 7200.9
$17 Panasonic Panaflo FBA12G12M1A 120mm Hydro Wave Case Cooling Fan
~=2250
1. I am going to need 10 fans for the case. Can anybody recommend any budget, reliable, 120mm fans?
3. Is the ram a good overclocker?
5. Which should I go with, the samsung, or the sceptre?
