I was wondering if this new Hd technology is giving any benefit to computer monitors? I cant find much about it.
I read somewere on a forum that someone had buyed a Hdtv television and that he connected it to his pc and he said that Half live 2 looked incredible. Id like to know more about this and thought ill ask here.

Can anyone inform me a little or give me some link.
I appreciate it very much.

Monitors have higher res than HD so it wont make a difference, Size on the other hand will make a difference. (Bigger is better ;))

Ok. So the only difference is the resolution? The 'Apple cinema HD display 23"' why is this monitor called this way?
Ive understoot that hd's resolution is 1920 x 1080. That means that every monitor reaching that res is supports Hd?

(Forgive my poor English)

Check this thread out if your ok with reading English -> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71226

Basically you need DVI input/output for the high res. Although I have a 50" HDTV there is no way im connecting it to my pc, I keep those seperate! Besides, for GAMES you NEED fast LCDs, plasmas/lcd tv's usually have 20-30ms response times, causing blurs and ghosting.
