Tried setting everything to high, 4x aa and high quality in driver...

with 2500mHz X2 seems like frames are a bit slow... what do you guys set yours at?

Here are some benchmarks:

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 Processor
1 GB OCZ 2:2:2:6 DDR400 RAM
Seagate 7200.7 120 GB Hard Drive
OCZ 600 W PowerStream Power Supply

so you should be about 80-90 fps at 16x12 & 4xAA and about 70 fps at 20x15 & 4xAA

hmmmm... well it looks like it's not the settings then!

I must have had a cruddy server. I just installed BF2-SF and thought it felt a bit choppy...
I'm on 81.95 which should be the latest and greatest! Maybe I need to do that AMD dual-core patch... even though I don't care about CnQ.

There is more to the settings than the resolution and AA settings when it comes to affecting the frame rates. The level of detail really makes a BIG difference. Anand pretty much left everything at default and set the res and AA.

What FPS are you getting? If you give me your settings I can run a quick comparo.

my friends got one 7800gt and a 3200amd and he can max out every detail in bf2 his parts are mildly overclocked too, so you should be able to play it fine
