View Full Version : Which would you rather buy for your machine>?

Which of these ram would you rather use in your machine if your main concerns were overclocking and gaming:

this:

They are about the same price but one is 1gb x 2 with slower timmings, and the other is 512x2 at pc4800 ddr600?

I was going to buy the 512x2 ocz ram, until some one told me i would be better off having 2 gigs for games like battlefield 2? Im very confused can some one help me out?

I would go with the Mushkin if I were you. I've never even heard of DDR600 before...

2 GB are way better for intense gaming, I think you should go for the Mushkins even though they will not overclock like the OCZs.

Obviously the 2x 512 MB OCZ will clock higher.

But since it doesn't matter for real-world application performance I'd go with the Mushkin kit. It's Samsung UCCC chips which seem to be the best gigabyte stick buy right now.
