Hi all.. :)
Right now I'm into watercooling/bong cooling......
I really wanna go into water chilling..I'm trying to buy an old a/c unit or an old fridge unit..
I wanted to ask.........

Can I replace the water with coolant and chill it..will it be ok ? Can/Should I do that ? I'll insulate pipes and stuff..
I'm reading more n more about waterchilling...very fascinating :)
Thanks in Advance

waterchilling is not putting the radiator into the water, but, using the water chilled in a bucket, and use it has a big reservoir!
If you put the radiator into the water, the water will corrose it very fast!!!

Thanks :)
So if I chill the reservoir..I can just put 1 pipe in to draw water, and another to put it back in? Its just that seeing dual evaps and all i'm a little too confused..want something simple for beginning..
So its like:
Reseroir to Pump..Pump to Block..Block to Reservoir..
I'll be going a/c/fridge unit hunting tomorrow :)
Sorry if asking stupid q's.....:P
thanks

you can still use the radiator!
Reservoir to Pump..Pump to Block..Block to RADIATOR and then Reservoir..
But offcourse, you dont have to use the radiator ;)
the principle is like those beer machines, i dunno the word in english :p:

hehe thanks..its bit clearer now :)
Theres an evaporator..which gets cooled down..and the condensor is to cool the unit....I could either watercool the condernsor..or put fans on it..(I think i'll go the fans way)..
Keep the evaporator in the box..(can I use a thermocol box?) mix distilled water+etanol+anti-freeze.. and then like u said..Reservoir to Pump..Pump to Block..Block to Radiator and then Reservoir..
:) bit clearer for me now i think.heh

i just have to say one thing
i understand a lot about water circuits and how the cold temps behave, but one thing i dont understand, and that is how to build a chiller/prommy :p:
