Well... I've been trying it for a half an hour more or less... and all I can do is ~3485Mhz aprox... (any vcore), so I'll wait until I give him a try on DICE (february?), and we'll see. :)

That's on single stage then eh?
we wanna see some 3.5 ghz dual spi action!
For sure we do, but if it was myself on the OC'ing end of this...I'd be a little cautious myself...I've killed enough hardware to know when to slow down and be carefull, and when it's maybe a little more acceptable to go full boar with the pedal down.
With dryice you got the 3,5ghz easy, i think.
Hope so, will tell you in a coupple of months. ;)

I wanna see them too, but I ain't got time.
I said february cuz it's holyday for me, but I also got a San Diego 3700+ to test at -70º... :D
And the point is that in my last setup, I killed my Winchester 3500+ giving him 2.03v.... :slapass:
Sooooo... I'll be very careful...
The good thing is that both my X2 and my sandy don't like voltage so much, so I will get the same either at 1.7v or 1.9v. :)
if u attack "us" - cottbus will strike back. . . ;)
I'm sure of that, that's why this is fun. ;)

Actually I do.
I got a pair of OCZ VX PC4000 and GSKILL PC4800 FR. (260 1.5-2-2-0 and 315 2.5-4-3-6).
But I was just playing. The problem with this CPU is that its mem controller is sooo weak, that my GSKill FR can't pass 295Mhz 1:1... :stick:

Holy crap is that ever...I guess it's not THAT much of a surprise, but still...such a wittle chip breaking over to the positive side of 0 is something to note.
He's damn hot since the first day, so I'm not really surprised.

Well you guys rock d X2 world!!! Really gr8 to see you slug it out.
@ POL how do you get it @ 1.26 man, CPU-Burning?? Few Pointers to tackle mine CCBWE.
I must have a crappy core or something, because the highest I ever got it was 2.85Ghz, and it was barely stable enough for a CPU validation. It's an LDBHE, if that means anything.

@ POL how do you get it @ 1.26 man, CPU-Burning?? Few Pointers to tackle mine CCBWE.
Not really. The first run I gave him, was on air and on my DFI on the sig.
I set it up, and after seeing that it booted right, I went into the BIOS to check everything. Vcore was set to Auto, and it was read as 1.26v...
I logged into windows, and checked what reading softwares said, and all said the same. 1.26v. I guess this is a pretty good CPU!!
I startes to overclock it, and I couldn't believe that it was able to achieve 2.6Ghz at that stock voltage, 1.26v... That was my setup until I installed the Vapochill on him. ;)
Ohh, and on phase, I can keep those 1.26v up to ~2.85Ghz. :D

When you OC a DC, you must OC both cores at the same time....
Hence, both cores are working at the same frec.
