windows MCE, overclocking?

i have the choice of what to install now. XP pro sp1, or XP MCE. ill be doing gaming, overclocking, alot of mp3's. i dont want my overclock hindered, but i do like extra functionality. does mce have alot of overhead compared to sp1?

MCE is almost identical to XP except for the media center options/programs. MCE theme almost looks like the new Vista which is nice.

I've experienced no performance loss between the two. I'm running 2005MCE
