How hard would it be to build a setup to control voltage to a tec to keep it within a certain temperature range (say -10 to 10c).
Also, has anyone tested how much wattage a ThermalTake BigTyphoon can dissapate? :D

Air isn't going to cut it. Not even a big typhoon.

i'm just interested in the BT for some fun, but dont have the necessary equipment for some stuff at the moment ;)

A variable voltage controller is possible.
I think I could mod my 5-15v ajustable PSU pretty easily .. just swap the ajustment knob for a circuit hooked up to a temp probe.
Might get some problems with refresh rates and interfearance .. and it probably wouldnt do the PSU much good but I think it would work.
The guys over at procooling had a thread about a switching temp controller (a much better idea) but im not sure if anybody ever built one and used it.
With such a system you could* possibly* maybe* aircool a TEC.
*but it might still be rubbish
