hey guys im about to buy a 146 box opoteron from tigerdirect, do you think that is ok?? or they have the worst steppings ever???
its almost usd200
what do you think? anyone knows the stepping? anynoehas bought one?

make sure they have stock. ASAIK, they aren't extremely reputable.

newegg has been reporting 148 CABYE's they seem to be very good at least 2.8Ghz on air given that you have a good mobo and decent ram.

nope mate it was 199 for the 146 box, plus shipping and taxes 227 (15 taxes 12 shipping 1-3 days).
hopefully i cant get it and get no problem with the credit card.
newegg is really bad for us living outside the us (and most of the e-stores)
