on an amd64 754 white castle? I was hoping I could get it at ~-10c running at 2.3gh with 1.7v running through it.

impossible or would I need a big a22 pelt?

impossible or would I need a big a22 pelt? This will highly depend on your water-cooling system. . . But so far I haven't heard of anyone able to run -10C at full load. I think that's getting into the phase change category.

You need a large pelt running in a sweet zone, NOT FULL POWER, to get the effiency.

There's probably a better way to get more power out of your system than overclocking your aging 754 newcastle. ;) The money you'll spend on pelts and a power supply can almost get you a nf3 ultra-d and an opteron 144. :D

HHhhhmmm? How you gonna get that much drop with lower voltages?

Remmember, dT drops as voltage drops.

Doesnt sound like a reasonable goal without some serious TEC knowledge and possibly some other forms of cooling combined with it. You are looking at powering a >50c drop in temps with a GOOD WCing system(40c hot side...).

idk, evaporative cooling might get you into a reasonable range, a frosty winter temperature and outside rad would help.....

looks pretty sweet :D can i get some specs on that? like what heatercore is that?
so your cooling your pelt with that big thing, what kinda temps you gettin? or have you not tried it out yet?
