My parts were delivered today, and I put it together nicely. This is my first DFI board so I'm still a little hesitant to some settings in the bios, even after all the stickies.
Anyways, I'm tired and thought I would just post a quick picture.

Tomorrow I will post some more, and will be needing some help on tweaking.

Sneak peek :)

someone should edit that spinnaz song so that it says rollin' on blue LED's, see those darn things everywhere. Guess it wouldn't be as catchy though...

I in no means bought it for the blue Led's, actually that 120mm in the picture was the front fan that came with the case, I just switched them around.

thx, that was my quick put together wiring job. I haven't touched it since the day I put it together (2 days ago). All I been doing is trying to tweak and get it stable. So now that I'm finding it's limits, I'm gonna go back in and finish the job.
Oh, btw, tonight I broke into the 26sec range in superpi 1M. And did break 90k in AQ3

pics coming soon

Haha nice rig, alot like my system cept i chose a few different parts and the sonata II, like you i was on a budget but my rig runs most games at highest with 4x aa and 8x af fine so all these dual SLI 7800 GTX configs are a waste IMO :D

Have fun with it!

looks like you could make it even neater if you remove the bottom drive cage and move the SATA drive up

tytlyf
12-02-2005, 10:43 PM
that's a good idea, never thought of that. But it would be hard getting that HD frame out of there, they are bolted, not screwed in. I was thinking about cutting part of the grill behind the front fan, 2 of those bars missing would make for better airflow..

Flipped the hard drive around for all you normal way haters, lol

Pimp man. Excellent wiring job. :D

If you take the front fan out and be careful not to cut the screw holes out, you can cut the metal honeycomb out behind the fan. Did it on my case, makes a huge difference. Then that allows you to put the plastic grille back on. Makes it look nicer.

first thing I did was cut out the front and rear honeycomb, now im considering cutting a couple of the bars that support the HD's. So there's more airflow.

I use the system for a couple games, and bragging rights..

Ok, ran some more benchies tonight, and used my camera to capture the screenies. For some reason when i printscreen all the images are over 3m and imageshack only allows 1m. So i figured this was the easiest way....

I was in the mood to bench, seeing as the temp dropped pretty good tonight..

And now to the final night wiring pictures. Sorry if i post too many pics, but more pics are better than no pics IMO. Enjoy if you want. I'm running prime, to illustrate what temps I get (ambient, cpu, etc.) with the cover on. Giving you guys an idea about the cooling of the zalman..Not bad if you ask me...

This is my daily speed 24/7..On with the pics.........
