Fitting types.

I was looking around here and every project I see is using brazed fittings. I was wondering if you could use flare fittings on every conection?

I was also wondering if oneyone has a guide or book I could read about compressors and generaly phase change.

Im very new but lader on I would like to build a chiller.

any sugestions?

I wouldn't use flared fittings on every connection. That's too much a bother, and can result in a pain in the ass trying to seal them all.

Using flares isn't out of the question. But its wiser just to use them where neccessary. If you do your flaring properly they'll seal just fine, but I wouldn't be using them everywhere ...
