The usual...30 days for replacement or refund ;)
Might I suggest the UPS 3 day select shipping for $20.00 if you think its going to get to you a little later than you'd want ;)

@Perkam thanks!

Perkam... You just made my day.
BTW, it's down to $494 now...
If it's there friday when I get my next check(80 hours a week for 2 weeks... Helloooo paycheck!), I'm getting one.
I've said it 50 times now, whoeever shows me a 512mb card for under $500 first gets my money, ATi did it, ATi gets my money. I don't care who wins in 3dmark, I don't do sub-zero cooling, I'll merely be playing games with it...End of story.
THANKS AGAIN PERKAM!

My guess is 16p 750/1800....
A pipe increase isnt currently in the works for ATI. R620 maybe?
That cards people have been using on here which brand where they?
I am making sure I get the right card here... I am actually waiting to order until tomorrow because I want to get some more feedback here.

They are all made by Sapphire anyhow... get whichever is cheapest.
They all have the same HSF on them as well?
I am ordering the HIS Version.

So which XT did you finally decide upon, UGP ?? :D Link ? :)

I ordered the HIS from NewEgg.. For one reason...I heard a few things about HIS and I have always had good luck with RMAs from NewEgg...I remember while back when I got my 9800XT from them and RMAd it through them they replaced it with a x800Pro. I should have it no later than Monday.

Hicks - I got mine from there as well. Anyone know when the Master cards are coming? Got a DFI crossfire mobo waiting for some awesome crossfire action!
i got a SLI board so I can't run crossfire just yet. That would be the next upgrade I do after awhile.
I remember reading something about running 4 DIMMs at 1T timing on that motherboard. So I am keeping an eye out on that.
Also quick questions...the program I see people use to overclock these cards where do I get that from?

Well, if u don't want to format, i recommend using Drivercleaner.
Unistall your display card drivers, reboot into safe mode, run drivercleaner and remove all nVidia display drivers and clean cab files.
Switch off PC and insert new card ;)
With a x1800XT would I see any difference running it in the bottom PCI-e slot at 8x than I would in the top slot at 16x?

U would see a slight drop in performance but not much...about 300pts in 05.
But i don't know about actuall gameplay.
I am just running it on the top slot at 16x

Let us know how your BBATI does crash. I am dumping my X1800XL and picking up a BBATI X1800XT tomorrow afternoon at my local shop as they have 1 put aside for me. I have heard nothing on the BBATI X1800XT cards so am curious to how they fare to the HIS which I am hearing a lot about. I sure hope my card does well and has no issues as I am paying quite a bit for it especially since I just dropped big bucks on the XL version not even 3 full weeks ago. Since you are the only other one to have a BBATI I hope to hear your results so we can compare.

Thanks for the response flisko. Glad to hear of a BBATI doing well. I am picking mine up in the next hour then rushing home to install it. I am going to stick with stock air for now. I have a Zalman Fatality on my X1800XL right now but I really don't think it will do any better than stock so I will just leave it be for now and make sure it runs as should at stock before I start upping it more. One question though. How is the stock HSF attached to the cards ram? I am wondering if they use thick pads or what? I was thinking of pulling it off to apply ceramique on the core as I think it will do better than the stock paste. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this? If there isn't too much of a gap between between the ram chips and the heatsink I was thinking of applying ceramique to to the memory as well. Good idea? Bad idea? I don't plan on straying from AIR so would like to get the best out of it I can. Even if it only drops temps a couple degrees I think it still better than nothing. If anyone cares to share any thoughts on this matter who may already own an XT or is just more knowledgable in general please do share. Thanks.

The XT's like the XL's have the thick pads between the memory ic's and the heatsink. But I am not sure how big the gap would be once you remove the pads, but its definetly worth a shot if your gonna stay on AIR. Let us know what happens if you try this. Also you dont what to use your Zalman Fatality the XT? I would think it would be better and prolly quieter :)

Just installed my BBATI X1800XT today. Man this thing is hot. Mind you I have not ran the fan at 100% due to it being extremely loud and in games I get about 80C steady. That is damn hot. Believe it or not during a 45 loop of 3dmark01 the core got into the 90's!!! I freaked and exited the bench asap. I am worried about my card now due to it getting so hot for that period of time. What is the max these cards can take and do you think having it in the 90's did anything to it? I had no clue these get so hot as my X1800XL with Zalman barely hit 60c full load. Wow.
Mine gets no where near that and I don't believe eva2000 does either clocked at 749 on his core...

Seems a little high, though mine was getting hot, with the fan on low. Seems you can either have good cooling, but it's really loud, or low fan speed and no noise, but hot temps.

yup unfortunately that is the only trade off until something better comes out. I am unsure if Arctic Silencer can even bring something better than the stock XT HSF as it is already very beefy and heavy.
Hicks when you said you had your fan on low with high temps what is the highest temperature you have ever seen your XT get at and what do you keep it at now as highest and at what clocks and volts?
Thanks.

yea sounds about dead one to me hicks. I get about 55c idle though in the middle of the day with the computer on for hours it gets to late 50's idle and about 80c load. Sounds about normal then. Thanks for your response. I guess my one day of 90c was a bad, bad thing but 80c load sounds about average for stock cooling in a hot room.

Yep, i think the temps are perfectly normal, the fan does spin up when i clock the core to 690, i wanna run the fan speed at a constant 34%, so im gonna have to use rivatuner for that.

The fan on my card didn't seem to kick up a notch at all when the card was hitting into the 90's yesterday which is what worried me. I am unsure if it was because I had ATI tool installed as well which may have mucked with the fan overriding speeds so no clue. I use ATI tool now to throttle the fan speeds depending on temps. Anything over 79c and the fan kicks into 50% which is kinda loud but not too too bad I suppose. Temps on the card never quite hit 80'c as long as the fan keeps speeding up. I see about 77-78c steady now which should be quite safe to keep this card running strong, crash and artifact free hopefully for at least the next year before I go R580. Fan at 100% drastically drops temps but is too much to handle after a few mins.

Yeah, the heatsink for these XT's seems very good, i wonder why ATI don't use a bigger fan, like the 512mb GTX's, it could be a lot quieter, and be just as good.
