Im lookin for a new card and 2001se is me favorite benchmark. Would love to see some 2001 runs with the GTX512 (air/watercooled) so i can make up me mind. Your thoughts on which one to choose?

Cheers

On my rig, X1800XT at 680/770 I got ~32500 with the GTX 512 @ 600 / 1.72 I got ~34200.

If you're water cooling, a good X1800XL for ~$349 can get 40k+ in 01se easily...unless you're going for the 50ks on the forum.

seems that the concensus is 7800 ultra judging by the orb

I kinda think that if you could get the XT under phase, some sky-high clocks might be able to edge out the 7800, but then again the full potential of the 512MB GTX is still being explored.

Hmmm, if it's just for benching 01, get the XT, and save some mone, should be able to overclock it more on the 0.09, especially wth more powerful cooling.
