CCC, the oc tool from driverheaven and the new ati tool all show my stock settings at 600 core and 700 mem. Did i get a bad card? They are supposed to be 625/750, correct?

Thats the 2d speed, in 3d it switches to 625/750

When you load ati tool it detects stock settings and places them at default. Exact numbers are 594/693 that ati tool sets them at. So now my question would be, what settings in ccc and ati tool need to be changed, if any, in order for them to detect the 3D settings? Which are 625/750.
Thanks again for any help

It wont detect the 3D settings unless you are running 3d. You can just have ATI Tool load a profile on startup that will set the clocks to whatever youd like.

Do you have the beta ATI Tool?

First of all make sure that Overdrive hasn't taken your clocks down..I'd say just turn it off to test.
The overclock tool from Driverheaven reports the correct clock speeds for me on the whole range of X1000 cards. Check to see if Everest can pick up the clockspeed. Also try running some benches and see if your scores seem to be low.

Yes, I have the ATI beta tool. I have already thought about running other benchmarks to read my card. Unfortunately Everest and Sisoft Sandra does not work on my mobo yet so those programs immediately crash my puter when I try running them. I have run 3d mark03 and stock scores was 16279, in 05 they were close to 9000 but 3dmark results does not show my vid cards clock speed.

everest doesn't properly recognize my X1800XL at least not the sensor portion of the card/program together.

Test some benchmarks like 05 and 03 for sure and see what it scores. At least it will give us a general idea of what it is.
