Hi guys

Im going to buy a new mobo+CPU, but im confused with the new expert. It shows impressive results, but no-one says that is better than the old NF4, only "more stable", and some are getting troubles to do the same OC in the new experts... I want the best board to OC... but pay 80€+ for the "same" thing.. (i dont need SLI-DR extras...).

What do you think?¿

All same board layout. Can run 300+ HTT & up to 2800 (so far :D) on any of them.
No need for me to get 'Better' board.

OTOH YMMV

Right now I would only go for ASUS A8N SLI32

I think it depends on what you will be doing. If you are big into UTT/BH memories then definitely go with the expert...the old NF4 has too much history of killing sticks when that 4v jumper is on. If you're just going to be using TCCD and/or BE/CE-6 2gb kits, anything that won't require you to run the 4v jumper pretty much, the old DFI will be fine.

As far as killing CPU's, ONE eXpert board killed two cpus, OPB's, and that was a pre-production board that was defective. Also, no one seems to realize that the Asus has also killed ONE cpu, and that was a retail board. The thread is around here somewhere..i believe its called "I have an A8N32-SLI!!"

Good luck in your overclocking adventures :)
