Just got my 146 yesterday from ZZF its a CABYE 0540FPAW. What should I expect out of this chip? I have a DFI UltraD mobo and OCZ pc3200 Plat ram. I'm running a BFG 7800GT OC for the video and have 2 80 gig WD 7200rpm HDs not in raid and a 120 gig WD 7200rpm too. I have a 470 watt Skyhawk 24pin PS for the power and a Audigy4 sound card. The rest is somewhat irreverent NEC DVD RW and iirc Liteon DVD drives. No floppy installed.

Played with it a little bit yesterday and got to 3002MHz within an hour on the retail HS&F. Had to do some fiddeling with the ram to get it there but it seemed to run stable all day. I'm a gamer so I want it to game most of all w/o problems. I played a couple hours of CoD2 at max rez w/o a problem and had a TWL match RtCW/ET 3x3 SW last night (maj pwnage;) and didn't have one problem.

I'd like to see the max this cpu/ram will do but I've been out of OCing for years now. This mobo has way too many ways to flick switchs. What are my best options to get the very highest OC out of this cpu with a stock HS&F? I will get a good copper HS&F at a later time and thats as far as I will co with cooling. I have the computer with the side off sitting by my bay window with the cool outside air blowing over it. IIRC the cpu was at 36 deg cel all the time yesterday at the 3002MHz OC so heat seems to be not a factor.

Come on DFI UltraD boys whats the trick. Tell me exactly what the run down of the mem setup page and what to set.

P.S. Forgot to tell ya I'm running WinXP Pro 64bit and have a copy of but not installed of XP Home and the famous Windows OS Millennium. :p

Thanks in advance
OCer from way back
