Hi,
well i tested my a64 3000+ end it ended up in 3456 mhz prime stable :D it would do a cpu-z verification but i burned my system ^^. i tried to oc another 3000+ 2 his limits and is was @ 3630 mhz primestable, but than the system began after
saving bios configs to smoke. it was well isolated, but 4 pic i took it away ;)

What was the stepping of that 36xx MHZ cpu?
Did you smoked only the chip or is the mainboard also dead?

How is that possible? Unless the idle temps are freezing that sucker really good before hand...I have a custom chiller I built and can get idle temps as low as -20C at 3000Mhz or so. Under load at 3100 it will stay under 0, hovering between -2 and -3ºC...I am either doing somehting wrong, or that is just one hell of a chip(stepping?)...Nice results, and screw Prime, lets see some benches! Rock On!
Either one helluva cpu, or one helliva mach2gt lol....1.84Vcore - brave man..... :toast:

well i ve 2 3000+. the one makes 3456 mhz stable. the other cpu was there to get the wr :) i was @ 3630 mhz , i did a picture, saved, and made a reboot to clock more. than in post screen there was coming smoke out of the eva. after remowing the eva and all the iso i saw the cpu. the mainboard is death, my ram, an the cpu. i dont know why ^^. the eva is extra modded 4 cpus without hs.

i cutted the armaflex 4 the cpu :)

a few moments before mounting the eva :) i used a lot of wlp to fix the armaflex on the cpu ^^ and to avoid condense

if i refind the cpu hs i cant tell you the stepping ^^.15 mhz and i did get the wr. grml ^^
