The only way it can bog you down is if youre running on the threshold of no memory left iny our system. This program uses hardly any resources at all.

i run both dimes and d2ol on all systems and i dont have any problems with normal things even editing video its not choppy so please give us a systems over look on what your working with!

...sig ;) idk if i open the client it just bogs everything down...I'm on my Collge ISP which is VERY fast so thats not the problem

Keep it in the Tray... You don't need it open to work. There's a "start minimised" or similar option.

Well, it ain't running 24/7 anymore here too, it keeps on sucking 40+mb, and I'm just very short of my Ram, next year I'll put in 2x512mb in this lappie instead of the 2x256mb that's in it now. When I'm busy working it just hasn't got enough of ram. So killing javaw.exe is the way to go for me. Sorry guys, now it's just a good 12/7... :(
