The 2500 is limited to 2450mhz. Anything higher it will not post even on a DFI board. 350 unfortionitly is the limit no matter who ya talk to. I have aready gotten there. Appears 2500+s and 2800+s are completly diff. Too bad too. But sempron 64 2800's are the best semprons to OC I beleave.
To the dude that got the awesome OC. Thats very impressive. I'm going to get myself a 2800 and some G skill ram brake some limits of my own with my board. Hee hee. G skill ram is nice for getting insane MB/s.

i know voltmod can help , its actualy runnig at a lower vcore than stock, and i know a person who has amazing skills in that area, he can put a ram chip on the pcb again if it broke off. But i cannot find a mod for the K8N4 e deluxe. btw this is a bad rev. i've got the first one so i think it wont do 400 mhz ht. but it will do close to 1300 mhz htt speed, 1350 doesn't work.
I can get an rev 1.01 from i friend, this will do over 350 ht with my cpu but it i cant get it stable at even 2400 on that board.
and what do you mean with using s&m ?
@oicurafox2000
I think you need to revert back to an older bios. Try 1002 or 1005. BTW nice oc on default vcore. ???
I cant change the vcore in any bios, so why should i go back to any of those ? beter voltage stability ??
btw this is with an cnps7000A cu in a room on the attic, room temp appr. 21 C
edit : and yes i know a s754 runs better on 1x ddr than on 2x or even 3, but over here it seems to make no difirence. i can do 3x ddr ram at the same speeds, it wont go 1 mhz higer if i only put one in. The voltage is limiting this one, i realy need a changable vcore. Are there great biosmodders in the place ??
btw temps are 24 idle and 34 stressed

From my understanding,(I have this board,I've just been too lazy to mess with it) this boards earlier bios's supported changing the Vcore on the Sempron's,but they later changed that with the later bios's. Anotherwords,if you flash to an older bios, you might have the ability to change the Vcore. I might mess with mine a little this week. I have pics of the VDimm mod if you need anymore then 1.7V. to your ram?

The best S754 mobo is my mobo. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=55250 Somebody finally showed me this what my mobo can do... this is the best OC somebody has ever gotten on this cpu I beleave. And it was with a Tforce6100 S754 keep in mind. But it is not my OC. I didn't get a cpu with a memory controler that good. 110% OC I just thought it would be cool to show.
3ghz on a Sempron 64 2500+ I really wish I had a cpu this good. The best mobo is more of a taste and of oppinion. Everybody has their favs. More ppl should get Tforces. They have know idea what they can really do. I call it the budget DFI killer. Why, well damn if i had a good mem controler I would have a OC like that. Now I really can't wait to get my hands on that venice S754.

and what do you mean by use only 2 sides ram ? i am running on a set of geil one, so that's 2 identical ram sticks, i dont use the third because my other ram is uccc and can't keep up with the ohter sh*t.And i run on 2 sticks because using only 1 stick doesn't provide a advantage so in this case is 2x 512 faster than 1x 512.

But you can't change Tref, MAL and RP timings :( Only by A64Tweaker.
=> Much inconveniences with RAM overclocking.
Vcore: If 1,5 default, you can change to 1,80 and next to 1,95
If 1,4 default, you can change to 1,7 and next to 1,85 (not work).

How much did it help removing the IHS?
It's depends of cpu. My friend's Newcastle with IHS oc'ed to 2.4GHz 1.6v, after remove ISH @2.5GHz 1.5v  . I try with one a64 - about 70MHz more at same vcore, my another friend got 60MHz extra.
Try that, but be careful - it's easy way to damage your cpu :fact:

That's cool. What do you think will it work on mine?Does this earn extra mhz because the capacitors are cooled better?I was able to boot at 3ghz but it got stuck at win:( The PSU had 11.2 on the 12v rail:)).

I think it will work:) . It's give extra mhz, because cooler cooling directly core, IHS "breaking" heat from cpu. Lower temp = more mhz = more fun
And last think.... change this "PSU":slap:

My XP-90 is on a naked chip. I made my own hold-downs using a bolt, and a spring,so that pressure would not crush the sides of my die.
The first two photos are on a lidded cpu,the last is on a naked chip.

oicurafox2000 is right, my old sempron 64 2500 I use to have in my Tforce6100 OCed upto 350HTT and 375HTT max. With this board. I am so nearly close to 3ghz after i started burning in my venice on this board at almost 300HTT. I want to try lower multipliers again highest was 379HTT so far last time I tryed on a athlon 64 3000. Newer bioses are out tho then the B02. Look on biostars china sight for 2006 bioses.
You shouldn't have any probs with the board are you sure you arn't doing something wrong? Its just not possible because me and oicurafox2000 rule these mobos. Easyest and best mobos you can use and get high HTT on. If you can't get any higher try clockgen. No way you can have 3 bad boards that can't OC worth anything. My girls mobo OCed just as good as mine and oicurafox2000's. Shes got the same ver 1.1 like oicurafox2000 has. I have ver 1.0. Hmm quite strange the prob your having.

No I didn't need to cut anything on the XP-90. I simply used the tool found in my pics below, and unscrewed the clamp-downs. Then I took a old piece of steel, and cut it around 20mm x 20mm and Drilled 2 holes in them(one bigger then the other. Then I put the screw back in to hold my piece of steel, and threaded a bolt from the bottom to the other(bigger)hole. Then I put my spring on there, and put my wing-nut on,and started threading it down. Thats it! Thread both sides evenly, and you won't crush the edges of you naked core.

I am currently running 315mhz Htt, but only with a single 256mb stick of ram. The boards is really crap when it comes to ram. 6 out of 8 sticks limited the oc at 250-280mhz :/
There is no way that the board is not the limiting factor on my side. I tested the sempron in a dfi nf3 250gb and it did 2700mhz occt and 32m stable at about 1.55V. Wasn`t maxed out yet, but I didnt have much time.

No cap mods needed here, there are already very nice sanyo caps for voltage regulation. I just got rid of that ram,I bought it refurbished from the egg. Keep looking at newegg for refurbished memory. You wouldn't need the OCZ booster with the mobo,it allows you up to 3.2v. Vdimm, and 3.7v. with a PSU that has adjustable pots. If you don't have adjustable pots,do a 3.3V. sense mod.

I'll assume that it can be,because its using the same dimensions for hold-downs,and what not. Keep in mind that it might be a tad harder to work on because you'll need to work under more fins. (the screw won't be as exposed, therfore making it harder to thread/do)

Ahh yes I could do that, I was thinking of getting a OCZ powersupply that could do that. Mines OK. Or I could do the mod. I finally found someplaces that have that memory. And yeah I run this ram on 3.2v most of the time now with cooling but the voltage readings is a bit off on this board its really higher then what it reads about 3.3v for the memory and Vcore 1.78v. The bios or the voltage monitor on the board is just giving slightly off readings. I planned on getting some of that VX ram just to show off. Eather mod get a OCZ booster or powersupply that can regulate Higher volts. My 350 watt isn't really that strong. I was going to replace it in the future.
I know those caps are great, DFI quality they are. Rev 1.1 has afew new cap placements I see tho is what I noticed mine doesn't have so yours maybe slightly more stable. Get these... even better if you can get your memory refunded. Best BH-5 based I ever seen UTT's breath new life into BH-5 like chips. Made to take upto 4v made for the DFI boards and can run upto 580mhz and 600mhz with 2-2-2-5 timmings at those volts. 3.2/3.3v and up. I'm quite impressed with these. Perfect for show and enough to play games on. Damn this is better then my video memory. Can't wait to see my videocard C 256mb's of that. This will be perfect for my games and give me all the performance I ever wanted.
I just ordered them so I'll start showing these babies off in afew days. I don't like my DDR600 OCZ's just didn't give me the performance I was looking for. Because horrible timmings limmited me. Now I can push my comp as hard as I want when I get this memory. Getting that OCZ memory refunded I am.
Edit:My bad the chips really don't have a voltage limit. PPL are running them at 3.8 and 3.9v are reported with the use of BH-UTT chips. This is the best quality stuff I ever seen just insane what it can run at.

There is a little update on my side.
I bought new cheap mdt ram and now I am running 348x9 2784mhz 1 m stable. Seems like I finally found some ram that the board likes. Cant boot at 352htt, but I am still messing around with the windows oc tools.
Edit: I played a bit around and got this pic stable :)

What cheap 2 x 1024 MB Ram is good for this board?
