seems similar to the layout of the 256 GTX vmods... man - those cards are going to be completely insane with vmods.. lol.

Shamino, a couple of pics of the points you decided to use for ground would be nice...

Use a molex or a 3fan header...nothing easier to use as a on/off ;)

Thanks though, I decided on some points. Worked out great.

Did anyone tried the vdd mod?

I modded 2 7800 and the vdd mod does not work on them. :(

U mean, the volts raised but didn't improve the overclock is that it ?

VDD worked for me, of course, you may have done it wrong. There are detailed pics of mine from a "7800 GTX 512" thread in the 3D section...check them out.

My xfx 7800gtx 512... just need to connect pot's and switch's to the pcb of the card... before that, put some cooling on it :D

Sorry for the quality...

Why do you have switches on there? I figured changing the voltage from standard to overvolted would damage your card not to mention the extra noise. I did have a question, however, if I re-did the vgpu mod without extra wires with the pots just directly soldered using thier legs, would I get more of an overclock?

Why do you have switches on there?

It's an on/off mechanism without unplugging any cable of the mod.

About your question the overclock with the extended cables or not would be the same!

Nice VGPU mod on that 512 GTX there. Will use it as a reference for mine :)

that mod pictured above is for VDD (memory), you will need to search the board for the VGPU mod (very similar, just a different PCB location)....i can't remember what thread it's in...sorry
