I think that this might be as much as I can get going for my daily output. I can't get any VM's going on my a64 rig, and I've got three running on my P4 laptop,
But I Accept your challenge.
I'll have to get a working key for 2000 Pro, since the key that the school gives us with it for the CIS major doesn't freaking work. Then I might be able to get more VMs running on my laptop.
I'll also have to sneak it onto another few computers of friends who already have all kinds of things cluttering up their icon tray. What's one more thing, and at that, one thing that is actually doing something.

I'm gonna have to see if I can finally get my a64 rig running some working VMs. None of the VMs I set up on it ever have a working internet connection.

I did, worked fine. Just didnt have sound.. Doesnt matter to me anyhow. Went from an NF3 setup to a NF4 with no probs.. They even had different ethernet adapters.

Like the vmware folder in program files AND the my virtual machines folder, or just the vmware folder?

I put them in the same folder as they were on the other machine.

Well... may not beat you to a million, but I'll try.
DIMES box is now 1GB (2x256, 1x512 DDR400) (Can't add more than 5 VM's though  ) and have a new DIMES (384MB :( ) box in the works, with another VM Disc waiting to go on it :D (My poor Wallet!)

Are you running a tweaked version of XP?? Give nlite a try, and u might be able to make XP only use ~80mb of ram.

well, this weekend gives you a chance to catch up, since I'm back home on break and can't keep any machines on at school. I've only got my 2.8 P4 laptop at home, and had to spend the last wo and a half days finally getting the router jiving with my computer. so I've got 4 VMs of Haltech's Diming XP on that, but we'll have to see how it handles the fourth (512mb).
But once I get back to school, I'm goig to be getting a few more VMs running and putting another 512 of RAM into my rig (2x256), but I'll have to keep the RAM speed low, since the 2x256 is bh-5. We'll see if the bh-5 can do 200 2-2-2 at 2.75, since that's as much as I feel comfortable giving my g.skill tccd.

Haltech:- Way to go... nice burnin up of the stats!
Dragon Orta:- Having a small hardware problem with the new dedicated box. So will fix that, and add another. Plan on adding another 5-15 VM's (Depends on how much memory I can get my mitts on). I figure 3K/day per VM, minimum of 15K/day over current scores (shoiuld be 20K/day minimum).
On a side note, both MS:VPC and VMware hurt the wallet somewhat... There goes the new bike I wanted...
Think you can hang wth that? :D
It'll happen in the week sometime (Customers PC's to get out the door first)

What happened to the great production you were having earlier today? I just got my main rig sorted out with VMs. 1.5gb of RAM, so we'll see how many VMs I can squeeze onto there. I've got 11 so far, and ~125mb of RAM free with D2OL, Firefox, and other stuff running.

Should another box or 2 to that in the coming week if I get chance.

Thanks. I would not have this production if you hadn't started to out-do me and spurred me on to completely re-installing XP so that I could get more VMs working. If you think you get get some more boxes going, I'm all for a race to 2 million. :toast:
