that is my mobo and i'm looking to get some g.skill for christmas with tccd chips, on the page says my mobo supports 64 bit ram, does not mention 128-bit ram, which is what the g.skill is .... should i excpect incompatability?

64 bit means its single channel, 128-bit means you have the ram in dual channel, which that mobo supports. if it dosn't support dual channel the ram will simply run in single channel mode.

Actually socket 754 is signle channel, which is 64 bits. But everything else that you've said is correct, the only reason the RAM you're getting is advertised as being 128bit is because its a set of two sticks, which in a dual channel mode would give you a memory bus width of 128bits.
