this is my everyday computer that gets run about 8 hours a day (gaming/homework/browsing the forums). I need it to be 100% stable (or else i just get irritated). i just discovered today that my processor has a lot more juice in it than i thought it did, and pushed it from the 2.3ghz that i was at up to 2.7ghz. however, check out my voltage. its set at 1.7 in the bios, and i'm afraid thats too high for a shuttle. is it? for reference, the cooling in it resembles an xp-90 bent up so that the fins are behind the exhaust fan. another thing is my memory doesnt like running at 300mhz. its some mushkin stuff from an older generation, a 1gb pc3200 kit with 2-3-2 timings. i have it at 2-3-2-7-1t, and it has to run at 185mhz due to my limited divider options. is there anything i should try there to tweak it for better performance? lastly, is there a hacked bios floating around for an sn95g5 v3 shuttle, because mine only goes up to 280mhz htt, and if not, is there a program i can load at start to automatically oc my cpu? even better would be an ati tool type system where it only oc's when i load a game. help me out here please.
