We are in 6th place for the week and barely out of 7th place for the day...not including my uploads that will clearly have us in 6th, perhaps 5th place. What a team!!!
P.S. Processing observations:
Dual core X2 completes more tasks than Intel rig
Northwood at 3.6Ghz completes more tasks than Prescot at 3.8Ghz
IBM Thinkpad is dismal...does 25% of what a desktop can do in the same amount of time.

Youre so right dak, didnt even notice....and it doesnt matter how little even your thinkpad can do, every candidate counts for both The Collective, and the bigger XS Team :)
Mafia and rod should go at it some more...we'll just sneak past all the noise :D :D :D

I sure hope that this is just everyone crunching. It would sure be nice to have a daily that's 2500 to 3000.

Got the sempy fixed & back up to 2390mhz. Should do work all day tomorrow. I tihnk I killed the chip in my backup rig (is 1.8v too much for an AXP 2000 @ 1999mhz on air??)

I meant stock cooler. heres what I did:
I booted up, and let it run memtest for a few days. Temps in bios were ~48c. then one day, me being the idiot I am, decides to try and make the ram run 166mhz instead of 133mhz (there was an option in the bios for it). The comp froze on the spot and now it wont work at all! I cleared cmos for like days in a row. Finally took it out of the case tonight to try and really get it to reset. If this doesnt work I may need a new cpu or stick of ram. We will find out.
