Windows HD problem

Hiya,

I just came back from holiday yesterday and started my pc up,
everything worked fine untill I double clicked "this computer"

it says "Can't find install.exe -- This program is needed to opend files with file-extention -- Wich executable file die want instead:.... "

humpf :(

anyone know what to do?
system recovery don't work, tried that.

Test the HD with the drive manufacturers non destructive drive test first. If it checks out OK, re install windows with the repair existing windows installation option and then repatch...
