As per my post about not having the 6pin power cable for the vid card... Found the one that came with my PSU hiding in my A64 box.... Yeh.... im an idiot/noob/jackass .... i will still re-emburse freecableguy for his efforts.... but all that aside.....
I plug the thing in.... hook everything else up... hit the power.... waiting... waiting... waiting... NOTHING!!!! Hooray something is effed up on my mobo or vid card.... they are the only two things refurbed... BOTH power up just fine.... I dont have an extra system speaker to see if the thing is complaining there.... i get the keyboard lights... they flash for a split second..... then nothing ness.... i hear a little HDD clatter but thats it...... as veigns are starting to pop out of my head just a the thought of something doesnt work... YES I KNOW I TOOK A RISK, YES I KNOW THAT IT WAS A STUPID ONE, i just hope newegg is nice enough to work with me on this... because thats 300 dollars of equipment that came to me and didnt work at all.... right out of there crappy boxes.... im putting my money on the mother board..... but lets not get our hopes up.................

I was very much releaved to hear Newegg will help me... especially since its been only 8 days since I ordered.... I am going to a LAN Party today, so i am gonna rob someones PCI-e card to see if it isnt the mother board, and if it is the mobo, i am gonna double check my card in their system to make sure it isnt both. atleast its not as bad as a headache as it was last night.

I`ve got a refurb`d DFI NF4 SLI-D, works great, but I didn`t get the SLI bridge. :(

I recently sent in a DFI SLI-DR to Newegg for replacement since it failed....I don't trust buying a refurb either as you never know what you are getting...even if it DOES work you don't know if it works as well as it should...

I've bought numerious Refurb'd items from newegg. I've had one item that didn't work (which newegg replaced promptly), everything else has worked perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to buy refurb'd items again.

BS, you should get one.
it didn`t come with anything but the MB, no driver CDs, no cables or manuals nothing. But if you read their add, they do say they may be bare.
On another Gigabyte refurbished MB/ dual GPU 6600GT card combo I bought it did have all the everything with it. But the MB took a crap right away and they didn`t have another one to replace it with so I was able to get a refund.

hey refurbished products are only for experienced pc tech/builders they state that
buy retail if you like a fluffy experience i usally do to hehe
sometimes i gotta be really cheap tho and it usually takes some time to get it working right
most refurbished mobo i buy were returned for a reason
lotsa times the bios will not save (dead cmos battery)
ide ports dont work so dissable them in bios and use the other channel
or fan headers dont work and i gotta use adapters
but a 130 dollar mobo for 70 bux its hard to argue hehehehe

I've bought 2x asus mobos from newegg refurb and they work flawlessly. They both came with everything. I got these for like $50 back when they were $110-$120 new.

Yeh, well, i cant even get it to work with any video card to even see if its a bios problem... Yes, not even my old 4MB PCI card works. I dunno what the problem is, but I am waiting for newegg to respond with its RMA process instructions... Also I gotta double check the Reciept to make sure they didnt send me the wrong proc cuz I could swear up and down i ordered the 3500+ Venice not the 3200+ Venice.... (I ordered it through a friend so its not as easy as checking mah email)... Also, I was full aware of their warnings, and I am infact what you would call an experienced pc builder, I've got round about 5 1/2 under my belt.
I'm not exactly "teh noob" but i'm not "teh master" either.

If you would have read my posts.... you would know what it is.....
YES ITS A REFURB
No big deal, I've heard nothing but good things about Newegg's RMA Process. Though it is looking like I am going to have to call them when I get home this afternoon. I should be home around 5:30 - 6:00 CST which gives me 1:30 - 2:00 hours to call them....
MOBO = Refurb
VGA = Refurb

Before you send it back, pull it out of that case, and put it on the K8N Neo's box or summich with the foam and see if it goes.....

I bought my motherboard refurbished. It was an Ultra-D already modded to SLi, no bridge though. AND my old x800pro was a refurb.
