View Full Version : Team 36362 XS Folding Roster Update 11-05-05

Revv23
11-04-2005, 09:52 PM
Hey Team

A few changes this update, I'm going to try to update this either monthly or every two weeks, more likely the former, depending on my time frame. I decided to drop the detailed stats as you can already click on a link leading directly to stats by just clicking on a name. The workload for the detailed specs was far to much, as it took me several hours just to complete what you see here. Also, an awards section was added, and I will now be keeping track of users movment through the ranks, as well as our team movement through the ranks. Please let me know your feedback on this.

Also, I've decided to just create a whole new thread, that way you can look to older threads for past updates, and its much easier to read everyone's comments on this updates' happenings, hopefully resulting in a more active thread.

Today's Update 11-05-05
Last Update 10-14-05 (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=77297)

Hope you enjoy!

Revv's rankings are out of our active folders, I think. And about that wu, give me the project number and run/clone/gen numbers and I'll track it for you.

Slowly climbing the charts, one problem though.. My pc has been folding on both cores @ 2.4ghz each for over 3 days str8, And im (-4), whats the deal with this?
Looks like the NF2 rig is gonna have to be dusted off and folded onto as well..

Also noticed lately(dunno how I missed previously) but If Folding on both cores then open edonkey and run time for wu's to complete go sky high, is this because the priority isnt high enough for the Clients?

Edonkey is killing all my processing power!

Lol as I wrote this we went from 203 rank to 202 :P :woot:

Ugly n Grey

any java app pretty much kills your processing power :)

Also you set your system to only request 50% CPU, you would be better off just having one instance requesting 100% CPU...

I joined the team today, only added 1 rig for now (Opti @ 3ghz which will be folding for about 12 hours/day).

I'll be adding my other rigs later, after I'm done with D2OL.
Dual Xeon @ 3ghz, 630 @ 4430Mhz and a 530 @ 3.5Ghz will be folding 24/7.
I'll have my son's rig (Opti @ 2.9ghz) running a couple of hours a day.

I stopped D2OL on my 630 @ 4430 and my dual xeon (1.6 @ 3ghz) yesterday and have them running FAH 24/7 now. 4 clients on the xeon and 2 on the 630, 100% cpu usage.

Alright, I'm all signed up. Right now all I got is an A-XP 2200 @ 2.1ghz and a P3 @ 800mhz. The P3 will stay on F@H forever. The A-XP will have it until I am #50 or so. We'll see. Soon I'll bork 13 or so celerons @ my local YMCA with F@H.

I have moved 4 dual xeon machines over to this project. They all are dedicated crunchers with 3.0 ghz,1 gb memory 2-2-2-5. They are running 4 instances of F@H. Production has gone way up since increasing them to 4 instead of 2.
Rosetta had to many problems for me to run.(need connection message all the time)

Neither am I ( well there is a Martian, but I'm not the ButtUgly one :D )

For FM I was doing a thread in which everyone posted their currently running production machines, made it more fun comparing among eachother and more clear when a fellow member needed some encouraging words ( eg his ppd didn't equate towards the machines he should have running ;) )

When I came here, I thought UnG would do such a thread when he came back to, and well there is this stickey which just hasn't been updated in ages.

Rev, you going to update it or do you want someone else to take care of it? This implementation of a folding roster is diffrent then what I ran I could combine the two ideas I guess. Roster with machines, and monthly updates on risers and fallers ect. Will be fun, looks like I won't be getting on those lists allot but honor is ment for those who deserve it
