ok, i have a big big problem
with my it7 max2 v2.0 i can't pass 197mhz fsb and SURE that it's a mobo limits...
now i'm searching a mobo that can pass this limit, possible that can do 210-220mhz (but think that 210 is enougth :D)

Epox 4PEA is limited to 200fsb by bios

Albatron PX845PE PROII Silver... can be a good mobo but only 2.8v for vmem... anyone know a mod for that?

Other mobos??

tried Asus P4PE ?

only 1 but bugged and limited to 166mhz :(
howether can do max 2.9v for vmem and albatron performs better, and i don't like asus at all.. :(

the vcore changes from idle to load of 0.1v that is a lot for a p4!!!

You can get the 4PEA over 200FSB by using CPUFSB :)

forget the Albatron... i hate her... it can't compare to the 4PEA+!!!

this is a great news!!! i love 4pea but the limit of 200fsb... wow, if with cpufsb it goes over this will be my next mobo, but think that can-t get over 200mhz... never tryed your 1600a with it macci??

I couldn't get it to run stable over 196FSB/245mem for 3dmark. BUt that was w/ my first 4PEA. just got a new one which I'm going to test later this evening :) lets hope that it will hit over 200 ;)

i think that 845PE can't get over 200mhz, IT7 can't, some 4PEA can't.... much mobo can't, i think this can be a chipset limit :(
but let me know if you can get better fsb with other 4pea mobos! ah, have you tryed to raise vagp, seems to stabilize the chipset

I never played w/ Vagp w/ the first 4PEA..But I just tried that w/ the new mobo: Vagp 1.5V => max mem speed for PiFast 233MHz, Vagp 2V => 248MHz :D
I'm quite sure that adjusting this Vagp also increases the chipset voltage. It seems that chipset voltage and AGP voltage are identical.

gotta try some high fsB OCing tomorrow ;)

IT7 can if you forget the pci lock and go with the 1/6th divider.

hehe, i have never used pci/lock because i have always knew (ot thinked) that lock can stress the chipset more than a divider created by ppl, but i'll retry ;)

tryed all configuration:
198mhz FSB Divider 1/3 don't load windows
198mhz FSB Divider 1/4 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d
198mhz FSB Divider 1/5 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d
198mhz FSB Divider 1/6 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d
198mhz FSB Fix33 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d
198mhz FSB Fix37 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d
198mhz FSB Fix44 load windows, full stable but a lot of artifacts in 3d

so there i have 2 ideas:
1- my mobo haven't any divider over 1/4 over 190mhz fsb... :(
2- the chipset haven't enought voltage

at 199mhz doesn't load windows at all...

weird.I ran into problems at 198fsb but losing the lock sorted them out.maybe Abitmarketing can answer this one and finally put the argument to bed.

Does the lock work or doesn't it? And do the dividers work also??
