antec 400 watt psu

I just bought an antec 400 watt psu and it has what looks like a 3 pin fan plug. i thought that this might be fore the second fan in the psu and i needed to hook it up to the motherboard but both fans are running without it being plugged in. So, what is this for?

I'm not positive, but I'm thinking that is the fan speed reporting connection. I checked Antecs site, but not enough info. Hopefully someone else here can confirm this.:cool:

Yeap, it monitors the speed of the PSU fans.
