This isnt the first time I have thought this but it is the first time, i thought of discussing it with someone....

Ever notice how 'some' video cards come with "cool" graphics displayed on it's VGA Cooler? Yet the way they are configured you end up hiding the damn graphic... I know for cooling purposes its best to have it the way it is otherwise this wouldn't be the root of my 'rant' today. I mean, what's the poit of it... so we can revel at the image for a maximum of 5 minutes before installing it in our computers never to be seen again unless upgrading or completing a thorough cleaning..... can anyone tell me the purpose here? i mean other than to make it flash, and for sales purposes.... and as far as the goes. Arent the boxes flashy enough?

What are your thoughts?

putting the fancy graphics on the cards downside, quite literally in most cases, whoa
yet another play on words ( adouble actually - am i good or what?), was definately a
wicked strategy to make all those casemodders converts to the cause of B-T-X. yes,
btx, whatever it stands for (Buy The new Xaser case, who knows). i guess it is some
giant conspiracy of the case-manufacturing industry in silent co-operation with board
manufacturers, videocard-manufacturers and possibly intel and microsoft. now what's
the question here (again)?

whatever, i totally agree and it p!sses me soo off, you know, i almost spilled my beer
when i read that, oh weee. btw, notice how i managed to pull of a perfect block-set
paragraph up there, well make that two... who cares about the boxes anyway...

ok, this was the rant corner of the forum, right?

here's some smilies to make up for it :toast: :slobber: :D
