"Chartered Semiconductor, a contract maker of chips from Singapore who signed a contract to manufacture AMD64 processors for Advanced Micro Devices, recently confirmed its intentions and said that the manufacturing would kick off in the Q2 2006. This may be a major enhancement to availability of processors by AMD."

Apparently they dont use the same proccess so they will act differently than the AMD made athlons..

Dunno if this will be bad or good, but it should be interesting.
