It's Intel's new 'mobile technology package' which is based around a processor that they've designed from the ground up for mobile use. It's codenames were formerly Banias (130nm) and Dothan (90nm).
The core is based on the P6 with a bunch of modifications made with it's mobile use in mind (clock gating, large cache, integrated wireless support). I think they're touting 6 hour battery lives and speed comparable to higher clocked Pentium 4-Ms.
I believe initial speeds will be between 1.3-1.6GHz upon launch. It should sport a 400MHz FSB and 1MB L2 cache. Dothan will clock past 2GHz and is rumored to have 2MB of L2 cache.
Intel should release more information next month at their Winter IDF.

Damn, and I was hoping for something revolutionary!

2mb level 2 cache is pretty revolutionary! Especailyl in a mobile processor, plus they will be ultra low voltage and therefore ultra cool!

I am not sure what Socket design they are using. It could be Socket 478 (or even 479) or even a new one. I'd have to dig to see if that was ever mentioned.
