Well,now have my system all set up and all has been going pretty well..untill this happend not long ago..
Went to install Intel Chipset drivers from the Asus website, and for some reason during this install the system shut it self down and as ive had this happen before with Intel drivers i just powered up the machine thinking worst case is i need to reinstall Windows again, or go Safe mode and try to get rid of the Chipset drivers and start again.
However when I powered the machine up the mouse wasnt working.. so I went to pull the mouse from the usb port and put it back in again as i was doing this however i heard a funny crackle noise from someware on the motherboard, so powered down the system quickly and then powered it up again and am greeted with a system with no video displaying,gpu fan full on and this funny noise still comeing from someware. I turned off the system again, pulled all the components and power and put everything back and started it up again.
This time i was greeted with 2 POST warnings - "Warning Casis Intrusion" and "Fatal Error -System Halted" So shut down system again, checked everything was how it should be then started up again, this time system started up fine, although mouse dosnt work at all still in boath safe mode and normal.
Have spoken to someone at tech support from the place I bought the mobo from and he suggests I reinstall windows, and then run some tests like Prime etc to make sure everything is how it should be. So thats what I am going to do next...
